about five years ago i bought this dusty and worn out collection of emily dickinson’s poems from a yard sale. for a while i was stuck in a dickinson’s phase, underlining and bookmarking many of her poems. this one is one of my favorites. and i actually was assigned to memorize and recite it to my english teacher my senior year of high school. i can still recite it today.
